At The Hindu Education Plus International, Students Were Encouraged to Expand Their Knowledge Beyond Their Course

Hundreds of students explored global education opportunities at The Hindu Education Plus Fair 2024 in Coimbatore, with expert guidance on visas, scholarships, and loans.

During the 20th edition of The Hindu Education Plus International Education Fair 2024, presented by FES Study Abroad, powered by Fragomen India and Bank of Maharashtra in Coimbatore, hundreds of students aspiring to pursue education outside India participated in the event on Thursday. The fair, held at Taj Vivanta, provided information about studying in countries such as the USA, the UK, Germany, Ireland, Australia, and others. International universities, colleges, financial institutions, and consulates set up stalls offering personalized interactions to guide students on applying for visas, scholarships, and financial aid for their higher education endeavours.

R. Stalin, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, Coimbatore City, addressed the students during the opening session. He highlighted the broader understanding of society that such events offer. He stressed the importance of developing a sense of responsibility, encouraging uninhibited engagement with others, and understanding how students can contribute to society.

Speakers at the event included Shanthi Mohan, who presented 'Your 5 Steps to U.S. Higher Education,' and Manjusha Ravindranath, who discussed how to 'Strategize Your Study Abroad Journey with Us' as the Regional Programme Manager of FES Study Abroad powered by Fragomen. Shruti Joseph, Manager of Campus France in Chennai, presented 'Study in France,' while Nirbhay Ranjan, Chief Manager at Bank of Maharashtra, spoke about 'Education and Retail Loan.'

The event continued on Friday, August 23rd, at Kumaraguru College of Technology, with participation from several sponsors, knowledge partners, and associate partners.

Additionally, visitors had the opportunity to participate in the UFLY slogan contest at the Unimoni stall, with travel vouchers and scholarships up for grabs.
